I’m Katie, the proud owner of Bride — and the girl who will be with you every step of the way throughout your bridal journey.
I’ve worked in the bridal industry for the past four years, originally joining the team under the previous owners of Icon Bridal. From the very first moment I stepped into bridal, I knew I had found something truly special. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
So, when the previous owners asked if I would like to take over the shop, I didn’t hesitate — I snapped their hands off!
Working in bridal has been nothing short of magical. There’s something so special about bringing women together, empowering one another and, most importantly, making every bride feel beautiful, confident and completely herself. It’s a feeling I truly don’t think can be compared to anything else.
At Bride, I believe every bride deserves the time and attention she needs to make the right decision for her. There’s never any pressure or rushing — just honest advice, support and a whole lot of excitement!
I genuinely go above and beyond for every bride who walks through my doors. In fact, I even have a bridal hotline, so you can reach me with any questions, worries or last-minute thoughts whenever you need me!
A little more about me 🤍
When I’m not helping brides find the one, life is just as busy!
I’m a mum to two very sassy girls, who definitely keep me on my toes and provide plenty of laughs (and the occasional headache!). I’m also a swim teacher, so when I’m not talking dresses, you’ll probably find me in the pool teaching little ones to swim.
Outside of work, I love baking — there’s nothing better than getting stuck into a new recipe — and I’m a big fan of a long dog walk, preferably with a good coffee along the way!

I’m also incredibly lucky to work alongside the amazing Phoebe, my seamstress and alterations expert. What started as a working partnership has quickly grown into a lovely friendship, and I honestly couldn’t imagine doing this without her.
Meet Phoebe 🤍
My background and degree is in costume construction. For a number of years I made costumes for cruise ships, film and theatre but I found a love and passion for bridal work while working at a designer sample house in London, and broadened my work with bridal shops in my local area. Working with brides to bring their vision to life is such rewarding work, and my favourite part (besides the sewing!) is meeting and getting to know brides and their families at such a special time.
